This isn’t a race, it’s a bike ride benefiting the FASEC which supports cancer patients and the Orphanage Tadeo Torres.
Register at the Corporation Mejor…(av. Florencia Astudillo y Alfonso Cordero, Ed. Cámara de Industrias, 13th flr., at FASEC (10 de Agosto entre (between) Augustín Landivar y Emiliano Crespo behind SOLCA), Tecnocyclo (Remicio Tamariz y Agustín Cueva, Supermaxi and Gran AKÍ stores.
I registered this morning at Tecnocyclo but Supermaxi might be easier to find.
Cost: Whatever you want to donate when you register.
I don’t think this ride requires it but many rides like this require you to have a spare inner tube with you in case of a flat. This is something I do anyway. I have a spare inner tube as well as a “stick pump” with me everywhere I go in my back pack.
Even if you’re just a casual bike rider this is something you might want to consider having.
I bought both of these at Los Angeles Bikes on Don Bosco.
The inner tube was $3.50 and the “stick pump” was $4. The pump actually weighs less than the inner tube and works better than any piece of junk foot pump I’ve ever owned or borrowed. lol
